   On Oct. 25, the finals of the Internet and mobile Internet industries of the 4th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition were unveiled ceremoniously in Tongxiang, Zhejiang. In the finals, there were 239 enterprises and 78 teams from across China competing for the higher rankings. As the representative of the winning enterprise groups in Shanghai Division, HSChinese finally won the nominee award of national enterprise groups by ranking among the top 20.  Demonstration of the awards won by HSChinese in the Competition     China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition is the highest-level innovation and entrepreneurship competition in China. In 2015-- the first year for deepening the reform-- when entrepreneurship and innovation are tending to be a nationwide upsurge, various divisions for the competition in the whole China fiercely competed against each other. In Shanghai Division only, there were nearly 3,000 groups signing up for the competition but less than 100 groups entering the finals. HSChinese won the highest-level winning prize in Shanghai Division and thus represented Shanghai to compete with other outstanding enterprises and teams in the national finals.     HSChinese, with its enormous competitive advantages displayed in the competition of Shanghai Division, attracted much attention from the adjudicators and the competitors. The Internet international Chinese education platform it created has the independent R&D capability in both website terminals and mobile terminals. On September 25th, the HSK test, an intelligent placement test system independently developed and improved by HSChinese, was successfully put into service in the HSK placement test organized by the International Education Center of ECNU. Almost 100 overseas students from all over the world participated in the placement test. The test system was in the state of good operation without errors in the whole process, greatly saving the universities’ time to judge the Chinese proficiency level of overseas students and helping the teachers quickly divide them into classes. It was praised by both the students participating in the test and the invigilators that day. As early as March 20th this year, the intelligent placement test system of HSChinese was successfully put into service in the HSK placement test organized by the International Education Center of ECNU. After that HSChinese optimized the test system in which the listening test would be conducted after the reading test and the fluency of listening test was improved according to the feedback provided by the teachers and overseas students in ECNU. At 1 pm, two classrooms on the first floor of ECNU’s computer room were opened simultaneously. For the convenience of students at the primary Chinese level, this test was available in Chinese, Japanese, English and Korean to test the Chinese proficiency level from listening and reading. Finishing a complete test needs 60 minutes, and after the students submit their answers, their scores and corresponding HSK level will be displayed on the teacher’s background of system immediately and the students will receive their test scores in their registered email box within 48 hours. The overseas students of ECNU are participating in the HSK test At 3 pm, the students finished the test and walked out of the examination room one after another. Among them, a candidate was particularly eye-catching. It was found that the old man at the age of 65 came to China to study the finance, and by coincidence, he was a VIP user of HSChinese. He was so excited to tell us that he was very pleasantly surprised when he found that the test system was developed by HSChinese and many Apps for learning Chinese on his mobile phone were all developed by HSChinese. On August 23rd of 2015, Miho Suzuki, who graduated from the Hiroshima Women’s University of Japan and used to study in the Journalism Department of Shandong University, successfully convened the HSChinese global Chinese language salon. Xiaolin yayi, Cunshang qinyin, and Xiaoping wenzi from Hiroshima Women’s University have participated in this salon.  Early last month, Miho Suzuki contacted us by email, introducing her situation and sincerely expressed her wish to convene the Chinese language salon. In the early August, she happened to have a chance coming to Shanghai and specially visited Hansheng Chinese Shanghai office. Miho is a typical Japanese girl, cute and polite. She said that she had a special passion for Chinese culture, and in the year of 2008, she spent one-year studying in Shandong University as an exchange student, but after her return to Japan, she had few opportunities to get access to the Chinese culture. Same as other junior classmates from Hiroshima Women’s University, she was always looking forward to an opportunity to access to the Chinese language again and learn more about the Chinese culture. August 1st, Miho Suzuki (Second from the right) was visiting Hansheng Chinese Shanghai Office  The short visit of Miho Suzuki made us feel this Japanese girl’s emotion to China, and Hansheng Chinese also tried its best to achieve her dream. Miho wished to convene a salon with a theme of “Chinese language learning and study in China”. Therefore Hansheng Chinese, specifically for this salon, made a Japanese version of materials about studying in China and provided the Chinese language learning material: audio and text of “Who Farted”, one program from “Yep!Chinese”, a new course of Hansheng Chinese. Hansheng also specifically recorded a 5-minute video to briefly introduce the study in China.  6:00 p.m. on August 23rd, Hansheng Conversation Salon started as scheduled. The students who enrolled for this event had learned some native Chinese in a very interesting way within two hours. By connecting Hansheng’s introduction of overseas study with the personal experience of studying in China, Miho presented the fun and notes she had experienced during her study in China, to the junior students. In order to promote the vitality of Chinese language around the world, and create more opportunities of face-to-face communication for more Chinese fans, Hansheng Chinese has launched the brand new “International Chinese Conversation Salon” and started to recruit event organizers all around the world. Applications of people from South Korea, Canada, Netherlands, Thailand, Japan and etc. were received upon the release of recruitment. Some of the people applying for the Salon event are local people who are learning Chinese, and some are local Chinese teachers, as well as many overseas students who are studying in China. In the afternoon on June 27th, the latest salon was successfully concluded in Gimhae, South Korea.  Upon the graduation season, therefore the theme of this salon was selected as “Graduation = Unemployment”. Hansheng Chinese supported overseas Chinese communication activities actively from both human and material resources. Besides the sponsorship, Hansheng Chinese also devoted to prepare the theme materials and interpretation video. As a top university in China, Fudan University has been actively trying cutting-edge education modes all the time. As the leading brand of Chinese online education, Shanghai Hansheng Chinese has been always upholding its purpose of “Technology Support Teaching”. A team of Hansheng Chinese flied to Massachusetts Institute of Technology in United States to attend the 9th International Conference on Internet Chinese Education lasting from June 19th to 21st. An academic report on “The Design of Teaching Assisting Tool App for Chinese Phonetics” was presented by the team, and this attracted a lot of attention on the conference. The 9th International Conference on Internet Chinese Education (ICICE9) was convened in Boston, USA and lasted from June 19th to 21st. Two hundred people attended this conference. The theme of the conference was “The Direction and Reflection of Chinese Language Teaching and Technology”, with the wish to step into a new stage of Chinese electronic teaching together with the international Chinese learners, through the academic essays published and the practical experience shared on conference. Professor Meng Zhuyi, the Chief Consultant of Hansheng Chinese, the Dean of the Chinese Language Institute of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, the Executive Director of the International Institute for Chinese Language Teaching, and Miss Zheng Lijie, the CEO of Hansheng Chinese, the famous HSK teaching specialist, the Director of International Chinese Testing and Teaching Research Center, the Dean of Huanyu Chinese Learning Center, as well as Mr. Xu Zhou, the senior project manager of Shanghai Hansheng Chinese, attended the conference together. The teachers who are unable to understand technology will be inevitably replaced by those who are capable to use technological tools to assist teaching. In 2015, Professor Meng Zhuyi of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies contributed his achievement based on decades of research: one set of practice program to learn Chinese phonetics for second-language learners. Miss Zheng Lijie managed to design and rebuild the main teaching logical process. Eventually the long-time teaching research achievement of Professor Meng Zhuyi has been transformed into App which to be directly utilized in class teaching and after-class practice. It starts from single syllable, double syllable and phonetic and intonation with the purpose to correct the phonetic pronunciation of Chinese learners, and the concept of “Technology Serve for Education, Technology Work for Specialist to Achieve Education” was stressed by Miss Zheng Lijie all the time. It was researched and developed by Hansheng Chinese as a phonetic teaching product for assistance to supplement the deficiency in class teaching. It will improve the industrialization of education service, promote the interaction between teachers and students by high-tech methods, and provide effective guidance for teachers and learners by the adoption of data digging. The successful completion of ICICA9 provided Hansheng Chinese with a direct contact and awareness of the circumstances and demands of international Chinese language teaching. Shanghai Hansheng Chinese and Beijing Huanyu Learning Center will strengthen the full-line and full-terminal combination along with the online and offline approach to provide effective teaching resources and platforms for international Chinese teachers, and more effective electronic learning products for Chinese learners, and establish an international Chinese teaching and learning ecosphere together based on the demands of both teachers and learners.
